Oh! now Macca! you all back home in Bonnie Scotia, had a similar experience when the "pom's" started selling "newcastle brown Ale" in my favorite pub in West Nile st, chemical beer we thought!!

Aye, but there are some really good ales on the market nowadays in Scotland and Belhaven seem to be taking a hold with the brews thay have, I'm kinda alternating between the Blhaven Best and Ember just now with my local having McEwans 8o bob on tap it's not a bad old world and gets better the longer I try them !!!!

The last time we were home in 2001, I  asked for a "pint O' heavy"in Renfield st, the guy said that it was now 90 bob ale???was he coning me mate!

I reckon so, I've drunk McEwans since I was age to drink and I've never heard of a 90/- ale. 60/-, 70/- and 80/-, are the only ones I know then onto the McEwan Export, the original pint o' Heavy !!!

Chammy, our beer is so good they changed it to XXXXX, that's why we keep winning the state of Origin football over NSW..

Oh now Euan, we were both brought up to believe that "football" was played with "A "round ball!!!(the world game) not that "head butting, leg pulling and king hitting" miss named ''Rugby"the Queensland/New South Wales folks call football!!!! it really is XXXXX (adults only!)five times!!!!!
